Our teenagers LOVED this experience. We ‘lived like locals’ for an afternoon and enjoyed every minute. Frank and his staff were terrific and very hospitable. We started with an intimate tour of Palermo, as we chose our meats at the butcher and wines at the wine shop and breads at the bakery. Our host then prepared the meal and we sat under a grand tent in a lovely brick backyard with lime and avocado trees shading us. Truly memorable.
Frank and his staff could not have made our experience more enjoyable. The food and wine was great but we also learned so much about the Argentine way of life that we will always remember.
My third visit to Buenos Aires was just a one-day, one-night stop but felt like I lived there. I learned a lot not just about Asado but also about graffiti, mate, meat cuts, knives, wine and a lot more. Highly recommended! Any questions I had, Frank and Agustin gladly answered. Frank’s Asado Adventure is a real experience. Not only do you learn how to make a traditional Argentine barbi, you learn about Argentine customs and culture. It was great to see where the produce is bought, and talk to the local suppliers. The added bonus for me was learning more and seeing the local street art.

We had the privilege of being hosted by Frank for our entire day. If you are looking for a “tourist food tour” type of activity, try one of the other commercial tourism companies. This is an inclusive, hands-on and educational cultural and culinary experience that provides a deeper understanding of Argentine asado traditions.
We were looking for a unique experience, an atypical tour to accommodate a larger group with diverse interests and needs and Asado Adventure exceeded all our expectations! Frank was extremely attentive to details and made and clearly communicated all of the arrangements for us from transportation to special accommodations which allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience.
