Since this is a private home, we will give you the address once you book. We will send you the address and a Google map link for your convenience. If you tell us where you would be coming from we can give you directions.
We can even send you instructions in Spanish so you can print them out to give to your driver, but finding us is very easy since we are located in the heart of the very fashionable Palermo Viejo barrio (neighborhood) of Buenos Aires.
If you choose private transportation through us, your driver will already know how to get here.
Within our tour prices, you will see an option to include private transportation to our home. Otherwise, we will send you instructions on how to arrive and even give you instructions in Spanish in case you would need to give them to your taxi driver. Once the tour is over, we will help you get private transportation back to your hotel, or provide directions on public transportation, whichever you prefer.
If you decide to cancel with at least 1 week’s notice, or if the tour can’t take place for reasons beyond our control (e.g. heavy rainstorm or flooding) then you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel with less than one week, but more than three days before the tour, then you can have a refund of 50% of the cost of your tour.
There will be no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of the tour date, except if you arrive in the city on the day of your tour, and your flight or cruise ship is late, in which case we will try to reschedule. If your flight or ship is canceled altogether, then we can give you a full refund provided you notify us at least 2 hours before the tour starts.
You will have a full meal: wine (or beer), water, appetizers, first course, salad, main course, and dessert. Before the meal, there is a shopping tour to select the main ingredients with expert guidance. Usually, we visit the butchery, the artisan bakery, and the wine store. If you choose the transport option then your initial transportation would be included in the tour price.
Yes! We offer 50% discount for children ages 6 to 10 years old, and we do not charge for children under 6.
We don’t offer a separate kids’ meal. We offer them the same delicious, amazing lunch that the adults will have. For drinks, we can offer water and juice. We could also have Coke and a variety of other soft drinks that they can choose from.
Your transportation at the end of the tour is not included. We could organize a taxi for you at an additional price or we can give you directions and suggestions for how to get back home on your own or how to further explore the area.
Our guides are bilingual, Spanish and English, and the tours are conducted in English. If someone attends that only speaks Spanish we will give the tour in both languages. Somos bilingües y podemos hacer el recorrido en Ingles y en Español.
Yes! If someone in your party wants a vegetarian option we can accommodate that and plan an individual delicious alternative meal for them. You can ask us about our vegetarian option beforehand via email.
We will end the tour with a cultural class on how Argentines greet and say goodbye to each other.
These are semiprivate group tours that are limited to no more than 10 people. If you would like a private tour, we may be able to arrange one for an additional fee. If you have a group size larger than 10 we could also arrange a tour for you. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Things do happen and we realize this. Please try to let us know if you would be coming in late. If you get here after we have left the house someone at the house will call us and we can coordinate to meet in the neighborhood. This whole tour happens within the same neighborhood so we are never too far away.
Yes, and we don’t cancel for rain either unless it’s very heavy. An Argentine asado doesn’t cancel for anything. This does take place in a private residence so in the case of inclement weather we could eat indoors.
