A Working Artist's Route Through the City's Real Gallery Scene.

We partner with Tamara Kerzberg, a practicing visual artist and cultural manager who's spent years mapping Buenos Aires' gallery scene — the artist-run project spaces as much as the major institutions. Tours run private or in small groups of up to 10, with routes through MALBA, the National Museum of Fine Arts, San Telmo, and Retiro, each built around real conversations with curators and gallerists rather than a fixed script. Wine tastings can be added to several of the walks.

I joined one of her walks myself — starting at the "Nosotros Afuera" egg sculpture near the Kavanagh building, through the gallery spaces inside Galerías Larreta, past where the old Di Tella Institute used to stand, and finishing at a wine bar. It's not a checklist of famous names; it's someone who actually knows the artists showing you around.

What to Expect

  • Guided by Tamara herself — not a rotating script read by different guides

  • Available in English or Spanish

  • Private tours or small groups, up to 10 guests

  • Optional wine tasting or pairing on select routes

  • Guidance for anyone curious about acquiring Argentine art, if that's of interest
