Wine Tasting Buenos Aires: Small Producers & Regional Food with Wine Discovery BA
Sit down around a big table in a private tasting room in Palermo Hollywood and work your way through four boutique Argentine wines — each from a different small producer, each paired with a homemade regional dish prepared fresh by Aby, their Argentine chef. Bertie, an English sommelier, guides you through the wines and the stories behind them: the family-run wineries, the regions, the history. It's relaxed, it's personal, and it's nothing like a restaurant wine list.
Three experiences to choose from: a lunch tasting, an afternoon tasting, or a private VIP dinner for up to six guests.

Estancia Day Trip from Buenos Aires: Gaucho Culture & Horseback Riding
A full day out on the pampas with Camino Pampa. You're picked up at your hotel and driven to San Antonio de Areco, where the day starts with a walk through the colonial town and a stop at a silversmith's workshop. Then it's out to Estancia El Ombú, a working ranch, where the same gauchos who lead your ride also grill your asado. I did this trip myself and it's one of my favorite days outside the city.

Delta River Boat Tour: Tigre and the Paraná Delta by Private Boat
A day on the water in the Paraná Delta, about 30 km north of Buenos Aires. Daniel Soria's team picks you up in the city at 9 am and takes you out on a private boat through channels too narrow for the big tour boats, past island homes and the subtropical landscape. You can keep it to a morning with a snack on board, or stay out longer and stop for a full asado lunch at Hostería El Atelier. If you have something specific in mind, Daniel can also put together a custom route.

Morning on the water: USD 180 per person. Three hours on the boat, with a snack on board (sandwich, empanadas and a soft drink). Back in the city around 2 pm.
Full day with lunch: USD 220 per person. Four hours on the boat, plus a full asado lunch at Hostería El Atelier: empanada or chorizo/morcilla to start, then asado de tira, pork matambrito or bife de chorizo with salads and fries, then dessert, and a soft drink or water with coffee. Back around 5 pm.
USD 30 per person deposit to reserve. The balance is paid directly to Delta River Tours.

Pachamama runs hands-on cooking classes from their kitchen on Benjamín Matienzo in Las Cañitas, Palermo. You cook four traditional Argentine recipes, including empanadas and chimichurri, then sit down to eat what you made with Argentine wine.
