Bertie Knows the Wines. Aby Cooks the Food. You Just Show Up.
Wine Discovery BA runs intimate wine experiences out of their private tasting room on Soler 5650 in Palermo Hollywood. Every session focuses on small-batch Argentine producers — the kind you won't find at a restaurant — paired with regional dishes or tapas made in-house. The team has been hosting guests in Buenos Aires for years, and they know their wines.
I visited myself and can vouch for it: this is a proper tasting, not a tourist trap.
What to Expect
-
Wines sourced from small family-run producers across Argentina's regions — from the arid north to Patagonia to Mendoza. Nothing generic, nothing you'll find in a restaurant wine list.
-
Each wine is paired with a homemade regional dish or tapa, prepared fresh by Aby. The food is part of the experience, not an afterthought.
-
Groups stay small — 8 guests maximum in the shared option — so the conversation is real and the tasting stays personal.
-
Bertie brings the sommelier knowledge, Aby brings the food and the cultural context. Between them you get the full picture of what's in your glass and why it matters.
